About The Equinox Challenge »

The Equinox Challenge is the ultimate test of skill, strategy and navigation for Scouts whilst being hunted down by a team of relentless Explorers. Do you think you've got what it takes to emerge victorious?

Troops can enter teams of between 4 and 7 Scouts, who must be aged between 10½ and 14½ on the day of the Challenge. Each team will be given a map where various posts will be located, each team will need to visit as many posts as possible within the 4 hours allocated, and each post is worth a differing amount of points depending on its location. The winning team is quite simply the team with the most points. By the way, did we mention the hunter force of Explorer Scouts whose sole role is to disrupt the progress of the Scouts and then deduct points from them? If caught, the team will lose the points from the last post visited - just hope it wasn't the 100 point letter box!
